Iranian doc ‘To Be is Better than not To Be’ to vie in US

Iranian documentary ‘To Be is Better than not To Be’ has been selected to compete at the 3rd edition of the Southeast Regional Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Iman Bayatfar, the documentary will compete with 10 other documentaries from around the world.

A synopsis to the doc reads “In the end truth will be stranger and more unbelievable than reality.”

Also produced by Bayatfar, the doc is Iran’s only representative at the festival.

The 2020 edition of the Southern Regional Film Festival will be held on May 20-30.
